Just needed to get this out there because apparently nobody else is providing a comprehensive analysis of the Colorado River Basins, corrupt politicians like Mohave County District 4 Supervisor Don Martin, who did NOTHING to get TOXIC algae WARNING SIGNS for South Cove, the Bureau of Reclamation killing the entire river system like the REFLECTING POOL, protecting tourism PROFITS, until ALL fish die like in San Carlos Reservoir (Rio Grande) a few week ago.
Arizona just gifted the Havasupai more FREE Arsenic and the Mohave County Board of Supervisors is viciously promoting mining.

- Lake Powell loses so much water to evaporation and the ground.
- Lake Powell is shallow and wide, preheating the water for the toxic algae and other bacteria in the lower lakes.
Every gallon the Bureau of Reclamation steals from upstream reservoirs to “save” Lake Powell is 100% wasted.
Think REFLECTING POOL!
Lake Powell water MUST stay in Lake Mead and cannot be diverted to venture-capital farmers in Arizona and California.
The volume would be about double.
Twice the water = half the pollution.
Normally, the Colorado water is ice cold in May at Pierce Ferry. In 2026, it was already warm in April. Toxic algae love warm water.

Why are Glen Canyon Institute and other nonprofits doing nothing? What are they doing with the donations?
Is any organization providing a comprehensive analysis that includes the issues listed below?
I’m 68 years old, get $314 Social Security, have to earn a living, and I could think of much more fun things to do than struggling with WordPress and web crap, researching till my contacts fall out (chronic Dry Eye), contacting organizations, legislators, regulators, candidates, demanding answers …. I’ve already researched well over a hundred hours and found NOTHING. NADA. NICHTS.
Sadly, swimming in the river is no longer on my list of fun things to do, and I apologize to all I took to the lake and river to go swimming. I had NO idea!
- WHY are thousands of river runners peeing into the Colorado?
Why was I thinking that the Park Service would surely have “collection” stations in the Grand Canyon for the many river runners?
Research & Action:
How many rafters were on the Colorado in 2025, and for how many days?
Why isn’t NPS installing septic tanks every 20 or so miles for rafters to dispose of PEE? It’s NOT rocket science to empty holding tanks periodically and transfer to a sewage treatment plant instead of deliberately growing TOXIC algae.
FYI: Urine is NOT sterile.

Sadly, MOJO is another grifter, a YouTube whore, and he just posted a video titled “Hoover Dam’s $52 Million Hail Mary: The Upgrade That Could Delay a Power Crisis”
100% false. I researched it. These turbines are a routine upgrade and won’t be online until around 2029.
After countless comments, trying to spoon-feed MOJO the facts, resources and videos, I can only conclude that MOJO is very LOW IQ, a Trump sycophant, praising the corrupt Bureau of Reclamation. The ultimate loyalty to Trump, drinking that “treated” sewage water cheerfully, maybe Qanon? Certainly not anywhere near reality, and a grifter willing to do ANYTHING for a buck. I despise his kind.

This is NOT a new problem and I have read about a kid dying after swimming in Lake Havasu. As the water gets warmer we obviously have more bacteria thriving in this sewage soup.
